The mutations of the 19th century
The 19th century was the period in which a great number of changes took place all around the world. These changes, called mutations, were of various types and included The Industrial Revolution, the huge demographic rise, a new way of social-political thinking as in liberalism vs socialism, the birth of the liberal city and the architect profession crisis. All these mutations made accessible housing more demanded on the market.
