Modernity is the difference between past and present
Modernity represents what gives the present its unique qualities that make it stand out from the past. This way, modernity becomes timeless, since it can be a universal principle that can be applied to any period of time. It is the difference between what is known to be traditional and what is new and yet to be explored.
